The Broadway Cares Collection - 2009 Musical Snowglobe

The latest in Broadway Cares' annual series of snow globes, the 2009 globe depicts New Years Eve in Times Square. Stylized skyscrapers fill the sky and the billboards of more than 20 Broadway musicals light the night. Atop it all, the New Years Eve Ball sits, waiting for countdown. When wound, the entire scene spins round and around to the tune of "42nd Street". Designed by Scott Pask. Shows featured on the globe include: 13, 9 to 5, Avenue Q, Billy Elliot, Chicago, Guys and Dolls, Hair, In the Heights, Jersey Boys, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Mamma Mia!, Mary Poppins, next to normal, Pal Joey, The Phantom of the Opera, Rock of Ages, Shrek the Musical, South Pacific, The Story of My Life, [title of show], West Side Story, White Christmas and Wicked.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this item goes to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
